An evening celebrating Neil Rolnick’s music and featuring the N.Y. premičres of Shadow Quartet, for 2 violins, viola, and cello, in which a loudspeaker is placed behind each player serving as a shadow of the player in front of it, and Hammer & Hair, for violin and piano, a classically structured piece exploring the acoustic sounds of the piano’s hammers and the violin’s bow. Programme also includes Fiddle Faddle, for violin and laptop, and other works.
